Over Us All,<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And All Our Endeavours,<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

God Brings<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Light<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

and God\u2019s Life Affirming Word<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Isaiah 55:3<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Incline your ear, and come to me; listen, so that you may live. I will make with you an everlasting covenant, my steadfast, sure love for David.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

2 Corinthians 1:20<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For in him every one of God\u2019s promises is a \u2018Yes. \u2019 For this reason it is through him that we say the \u2018Amen\u2019, to the glory of God.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Words of Grace For Today<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We all know too well the \u2018no\u2019s that the world throws at us and so many others. We are well practised at tossing our \u2018no\u2019s into the mix … where they do not belong (for they rebound back on us more than they impact others).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

God has always had a contrary way (contrary not to the universe, but to our perverted way of being in it) of working with creation and us creatures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

God says Yes! Yes! YES! And forever YES!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To all of life\u2019s goodness and to us in it (though we are full of so much that is not good) God says YES! And forever God says YES!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While we waste away life filling it with \u2018no\u2019s, God calls us to be those who also proclaim God\u2019s YES! to all people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And that starts by confessing our sins, accepting forgiveness and renewed life, and accepting that we are God-sent to say AMEN! to all God\u2019s YES!\u2019s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just another little challenge for this day, too, again, and again, …. forever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
