With the Heat Above 30\u2070 Now For Days<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Remembering -38\u2070 Doesn\u2019t Help.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Begging God for Deliverance Does.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

(It motivates us to chill. A little heat is nothing compared to the heat, smoke, drought, floods, storms, and disasters of all kinds, which others suffer already, and we may well suffer soon enough.)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Psalm 25:18<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Consider my affliction and my trouble, and forgive all my sins.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Luke 15:7<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous people who need no repentance.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Words of Grace For Today<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hah!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019d like to meet even one of those 99 people who do not need repentance!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of course I\u2019d like more to see one of those 99 in the mirror each morning, noon, and night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But it just ain\u2019t so for me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nor for any other living human being, or for any now dead, when they were still alive (since after we die, it\u2019s too late for repentance.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is wonderful is that there is great joy in heaven when we do repent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So today, call it Buss und Bet Tag, (day of repentance and prayer)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In our prayers and repentance we can beg God for mercy, for Christ promises us God will be gracious with us<\/p>\n\n\n\n

again<\/p>\n\n\n\n

and again<\/p>\n\n\n\n

and again<\/p>\n\n\n\n
