A Bit of February’s Chill Feels Good In August\u2019s Heat.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fools Forget the Bite of -40\u2070 and of +40\u2070.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We Are Vulnerable.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ecclesiastes 5:1<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guard your steps when you go to the house of God; to draw near to listen is better than the sacrifice offered by fools; for they do not know how to keep from doing evil.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Matthew 7:1<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Do not judge, so that you may not be judged.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Words of Grace For Today<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Right, Ecclesiastes again. All full of wisdom and folly, advice that cannot help one iota.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If we could do what we know or easily could know is right, the world would be a different kind of place,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

one without love,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

since love requires freewill and<\/p>\n\n\n\n

freewill inevitably allows and produces not love<\/p>\n\n\n\n

which includes choosing and doing what is not right (even when we know what is right.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As far as not judging others, it\u2019s also great advice, a warning that we too will be judged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But we will inevitably judge others and we will for sure be judged, regardless of what we do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Only God can save us!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And God has, does, and will again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now that\u2019s wisdom that is not full of folly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Humbly trusting God\u2019s works for us<\/p>\n\n\n\n

is the only worthy way of living.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But we will miss that mark again today, again and again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thankfully God knew that, and has taken that into account with forgiveness for us that is unending.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
