Blue Sky, Missing the Point.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two Birds Fly<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

With Grace.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Psalm 119:2<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Happy are those who keep his decrees, who seek him with their whole heart,<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Matthew 5:19<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Therefore, whoever breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches others to do the same, will be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Words of Grace For Today<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Blue<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Blue Blues<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Blue Dark Blues<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Blue Dark Blues because we\u2019ve blown it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Blue Dark Blues because we\u2019ve blown it, and it is the most important thing in all of life, the most important thing in all of everything that ever was or ever will be.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deep, Dark, We-Blew-It-Biggest-Time Blues!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If ever there were a more hopeless situation it could not be known: Happy are those who keep God\u2019s decrees and seek him with their whole heart, for God is the source of happiness and all that is good in life – BUT not one single person can ever keep God\u2019s decrees and seek him with their whole heart. No one has. No one does. No one ever will be able to. Except Jesus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the rest of us, we are doomed, and there is no better reason<\/p>\n\n\n\n

to not only sing the blues (for we\u2019ve lost out on happiness and life and goodness, totally)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

but<\/p>\n\n\n\n

to be the blues,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

stuck in the blues,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

lost,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

alienate from God,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

in the blues forever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Except<\/p>\n\n\n\n

that<\/p>\n\n\n\n

God\u2019s work in Jesus Christ to demonstrate that God extends Grace to us all,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

forgiving us for not seeking God with our whole hearts and<\/p>\n\n\n\n

breaking God\u2019s decrees though we would do otherwise<\/p>\n\n\n\n

which Grace turns our forever-blues into hope<\/p>\n\n\n\n

that never ends and does not disappoint.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So it is that Blue is the colour of hope.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So that singing the blues is an act<\/p>\n\n\n\n

of hope, even though we<\/p>\n\n\n\n

blew it big time today<\/p>\n\n\n\n

like yesterday and<\/p>\n\n\n\n

tomorrow, So<\/p>\n\n\n\n

God\u2019s Blues<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Carry us<\/p>\n\n\n\n

onward<\/p>\n\n\n\n
