Thinking of Eating What The World Offers?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It Can Kill Ya From the Inside Out.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zechariah 8:23<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thus says the Lord of hosts: In those days ten men from nations of every language shall take hold of a Jew, grasping his garment and saying, \u2018Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.\u2019<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Romans 10:14<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

But how are they to call on one in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in one of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone to proclaim him?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Words of Grace For Today<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dreamers we are,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

seeing all that is wrong,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

yearning that it would be better,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

giving great efforts, sometimes amazingly persistently powerful and heroic even,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

until the day we see how empty our hearts are and that despite even the accumulation of all humans\u2019 greatest efforts,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

we are still lost<\/p>\n\n\n\n

to a future<\/p>\n\n\n\n

of despair<\/p>\n\n\n\n

& doom<\/p>\n\n\n\n

& death.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Until<\/p>\n\n\n\n

we see clearly<\/p>\n\n\n\n

how full our hearts are, and we can give thanks for all that we humans have achieved through the generations,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

and we can give our greatest efforts all our concentrated energy and time so that all will be made right in our world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Until we realize that our hope in ourselves is an empty, deceptive hope, so that, empty or full as we may see our hearts and world, the reality is our sin drives us further and further from anything good at all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

only then<\/p>\n\n\n\n

can we accept<\/p>\n\n\n\n

that we need not just to give thanks for humans\u2019 great efforts,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

but that we need give God thanks for all that we have received, which we certainly do not deserve, and never can earn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

with our hope, our lives, our everything<\/p>\n\n\n\n

based on what God gives us<\/p>\n\n\n\n

we can see the immensities of what is not right<\/p>\n\n\n\n

and not despair,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

we can see the humongous efforts made by humans through all time and the little differences that all makes,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

and not depend on false, empty hopes nor despair,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Give<\/p>\n\n\n\n

God<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thanks<\/p>\n\n\n\n

for all that is Good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Therefore we go as God sends us, back to the world that is so flawed, which we cannot fix, and give everything,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

not to make our world right on our own,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But to give all people all that can be right,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

most of all the relationship God makes with us<\/p>\n\n\n\n

which is the only thing that can truly be right in our lives and in our world.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
