One More Goes Up In Smoke.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jeremiah 9:23<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thus says the Lord: Do not let the wise boast in their wisdom, do not let the mighty boast in their might, do not let the wealthy boast in their wealth;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

James 3:18<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace for those who make peace.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Where are all the bridges in my life,<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Where are all the bridges in my life,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I look for them in this quiet hermitage and there are so few,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

maybe one, maybe two?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I did nothing to set the fires,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Truth I spoke at all costs,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019ve been breathing their smoke for years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Where are all the bridges in my life?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Where are all the bridges in my life?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This blessed solitude is all I have left.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Where are all the bridges in my life,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why\u2019s the truck I drove \u2018cross them run hard aground, broken down again,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

maybe faults, maybe sin?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I did nothing to break the wheels,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Truth I held at all costs,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019ve been sinking in the mud for years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Where are all the bridges in my life?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Where are all the bridges in my life?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This blessed solitude is all that remains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Where are all the bridges in my life,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My legs are stopped moving, my arms crippled up, pains alone remain,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

finger free, maybe a toe?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All I could do is get ancient,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Truth I lost into the mists,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My heart\u2019s not doing for what it\u2019s meant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Where are all the bridges in my life?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Where are all the bridges in my life?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This blessed solitude is my future,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s only a few days now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This blessed solitude covers me now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Truth is hidden far and deep.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All is quiet, all is still.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is one blessed bridge across I come,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

home at last, sweet home, at last I am home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
