Remember How God\u2019s Grace<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lights Up Our Lives and<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

God\u2019s Whole Creation!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Psalm 103:2-3<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bless the Lord, O my soul, and do not forget all his benefits\u2014 who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases,<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1 John 4:10<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this is love, not that we loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Words of Grace For Today<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the days get shorter and shorter and the darkness longer and longer, it is time to remember:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

remember how hard we\u2019ve all worked to get where we are.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How arduous the journey has been.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How competitors and enemies have taken possibilities and resources from us, leaving us with so much less.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And still we have come out okay, or so we say.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For we could have gotten more if we\u2019d been like our enemies, vicious, uncaring, unscrupulous, deceptive, and downright dishonest about anything and everything that would give them an advantage, damned by the cost to others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But we did not.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some would say we suffer now because of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They are right of course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kindness, honesty, and fairness are always rewarded with suffering, even being cast out and labelled as abominations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But remember<\/p>\n\n\n\n

remember<\/p>\n\n\n\n

remember<\/p>\n\n\n\n

that we have come so far by God\u2019s Grace alone,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

and this day we survive only by Grace,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

and living in God\u2019s Grace is more wondrous than all the advantage our enemies have stolen from us, as we have worked to save the most vulnerable from destruction and disaster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Remember<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That we live in the love of God for us, enabled only by that love to be anything good at all, and able to love others, creation, and God above all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Short days, long nights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Remember<\/p>\n\n\n\n
