But If It Isn\u2019t Coloured With God\u2019s Love,<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s Nothing.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hosea 6:6<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For I desire steadfast love and not sacrifice, the knowledge of God rather than burnt-offerings.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Romans 13:10<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Love does no wrong to a neighbour; therefore, love is the fulfilling of the law.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Words of Grace For Today<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Love is the short version of all the law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Love of God, along with fear, for that is proper and right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Love of neighbour, for that brings us to do right by them all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Love of enemy, for that saves us from hate, and provides hope for the lost souls of this world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Love of self, for that is to reflect God\u2019s take on us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lots of other things are demanded of us by others, others who do not love God, neighbour, enemy or self. Lots of things that are not good for anyone in the end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So let us hope this Advent,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

that we will learn again each day to love<\/p>\n\n\n\n

as God loves us<\/p>\n\n\n\n
