Everywhere.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deuteronomy 14:1<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

You are children of the Lord your God. You must not lacerate yourselves or shave your forelocks for the dead.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Galatians 3:26<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

… for in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To be children again, wow!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Or is it Woe to those who wish to be children!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Or is it Whoa Betsy, hold on now. No way do we want to be children again!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not that it really matters, we are born children, every one of us, and we remain children to our parents our whole lives. No way out of that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Being good children is something that may not be on everyone\u2019s agenda or priority list, but it\u2019s one of those things the Ten Commandments highlights as being important to good living.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So we ought to work at it. Sometimes there are benefits to being someone\u2019s child like a great inheritance, and then sometimes it\u2019s just a pain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whether we are God\u2019s children or not is, like being children to our parents, is not up to us. Not that our parents had much choice in the matter about having particularly us as their children. … Unless, of course, we were adopted. Then our parents chose us, specifically us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That\u2019s what God does: chooses us, adopts us, gives us all the benefits of being heirs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That\u2019s a load of life abundant dumped in our laps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Are we up to living it?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
