I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star.\u2019<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n …<\/p>\n\n\n\n …<\/p>\n\n\n\n To know God<\/p>\n\n\n\n Yet not know that God is near<\/p>\n\n\n\n Is a hopeful<\/p>\n\n\n\n but frustrating experience<\/p>\n\n\n\n shared by so many through all the generations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Thus hope that carries many generations is that salvation may yet come<\/p>\n\n\n\n sometime,<\/p>\n\n\n\n or \u2018next year in Jerusalem\u2019 perhaps,<\/p>\n\n\n\n or in the wildernesses that our lives have become,<\/p>\n\n\n\n all tangled with comforts, luxuries, and excesses<\/p>\n\n\n\n that we\u2019ve forgotten how wonderful the fresh morning chill is when<\/p>\n\n\n\n it is countered by the warmth of a wood fire,<\/p>\n\n\n\n together promising another wonderful day,<\/p>\n\n\n\n not too cold, and not too hot,<\/p>\n\n\n\n not too wet, and not too dry,<\/p>\n\n\n\n not too windy, and not to close,<\/p>\n\n\n\n not too anything, and not too everything;<\/p>\n\n\n\n The perfect day awaits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Did you even notice?<\/p>\n\n\n\n As the sun ascends<\/p>\n\n\n\n and hearts give thanks<\/p>\n\n\n\n and blessings are celebrated<\/p>\n\n\n\n and computers have updated<\/p>\n\n\n\n and a wonderful, promising day has begun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Did you even notice<\/p>\n\n\n\n the star<\/p>\n\n\n\n out thar\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n promising<\/p>\n\n\n\n a Saviour<\/p>\n\n\n\n so close<\/p>\n\n\n\n already?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Little Star, Who is Going to Come to Save Us All, From So Far?
