Some Things, Some Moments, Some People,<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maybe,<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

But Everything is Good?!?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Com\u2019on, Get Real!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Isaiah 65:18<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

But be glad and rejoice forever in what I am creating;
for I am about to create Jerusalem as a joy, and its people as a delight.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1 Timothy 4:4-5<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected, provided it is received with thanksgiving; for it is sanctified by God\u2019s word and by prayer.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Words of Grace For Today<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who can say that everything is good!?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Evil abounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rottenness corrupts even the strongest parts of creation, and people most of all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(Maybe we are the weakest part of creation?)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So how can all be good?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Except neither writer says everything is good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both say that what God creates is good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then we go and mess it up, making it evil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So how to not do that?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Probably, given all that is written and experienced through the ages, that is not possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yet today we have the possibility of giving God thanks,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

and in giving thanks we help somethings retain their goodness that God created,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

even the goodness that God created in us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So give thanks<\/p>\n\n\n\n

for All that God<\/p>\n\n\n\n
