The Living Water Moves,<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Often Wildly,<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And Is Seldom,<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

though sometimes,<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Still<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Isaiah 49:10<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

they shall not hunger or thirst,
neither scorching wind nor sun shall strike them down,
for he who has pity on them will lead them,
and by springs of water will guide them.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

While I work physically and focused making preparations to survive another winter, harder, colder, bleaker … or easier than previous winters<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I often forget to drink enough.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alcohol it isn\u2019t of course. Can\u2019t afford it, money-wise or other-wise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Never like surrendering the clear senses my brain has provided me my life long. Why sacrifice it to … to what? What would alcohol provide?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But good water, yes!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sweet apple juice for a sugar boast, yes!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hot tea, yes!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Always, no matter what the day will bring or demand of me, I begin with the living Word, the Body of life and hope, and the Blood of sacrificial love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There my thirst for the essence of life is quenched, the living water flows through all those thirsts that could rob me of life abundant,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

and<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Well, it\u2019s a simple, sacred, overwhelming blessing<\/p>\n\n\n\n

to start each day so.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
