Jeremiah 14:7<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although our iniquities testify against us, act, O Lord, for your name\u2019s sake; our apostasies indeed are many, and we have sinned against you.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Matthew 6:14<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Words of Grace For Today<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sin is a hard thing to live beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It has a way of haunting us,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

even when we do not know it,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

creeping into our fears, our nightmares, our reactions to stress, our hopes,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

eating at us<\/p>\n\n\n\n

like locust eat a landscaped dead, one bite at a time<\/p>\n\n\n\n

times millions<\/p>\n\n\n\n

like the number of our small sins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How do we find freedom from these living, consuming, deadly haunts in our minds and souls?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

God knew we\u2019d need help,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

so God sent Jesus, to free us with his sacrifice, so dramatic, less we miss out what God does for us,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

and each day God promises to forgive us,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

no strings attached!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

God asks (non-binding is the request, but it completes our freedom) to forgive others as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not doing so is another sin,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

which eats at us again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Are there really any circumstances \u2013 consequences of another\u2019s sin – that cannot be forgiven?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Very definitely, and yet God forgives us for all of them, and asks us (non-binding is the request, but it completes our freedom) to forgive others these atrocities as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
