{"id":12135,"date":"2025-02-13T06:00:00","date_gmt":"2025-02-13T13:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mysticphoto.ca\/?p=12135"},"modified":"2025-02-13T13:00:14","modified_gmt":"2025-02-13T20:00:14","slug":"ancient-paths","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mysticphoto.ca\/?p=12135","title":{"rendered":"Ancient Paths"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Where Good Will Be<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Thursday 13 February 2025<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Crossroads Behind Us<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"288\" height=\"512\" src=\"https:\/\/mysticphoto.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/13.PS20230122_183333978.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-12138\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mysticphoto.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/13.PS20230122_183333978.jpg 288w, https:\/\/mysticphoto.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/13.PS20230122_183333978-169x300.jpg 169w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 288px) 85vw, 288px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Did We Choose This Steep Path Up?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Jeremiah 6:16<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Thus says the Lord:<br>Stand at the crossroads, and look,<br>and ask for the ancient paths,<br>where the good way lies; and walk in it,<br>and find rest for your souls.<br>But they said, \u2018We will not walk in it.\u2019<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Hebrews 6:11-12<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>And we want each one of you to show the same diligence, so as to realize the full assurance of hope to the very end, so that you may not become sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>&#8230;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Words of Grace For Today<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>&#8230;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So often we journey into the crossroads, and never see the path we choose &#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">until it\u2019s too late, or maybe never.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Not realizing the Goodness of Life was clearly visible on that other path we did not see, or intentionally did not choose, because the incline was so steep.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And then we stumble and tumble down to the depths of despair at how unfair life is, though we could have &#8230; we should have &#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It\u2019s all too easy to choose the easiest out, at every crossroads, but the wisdom of the ages is that it\u2019s often the steepest climb up that rewards us with views spectacular, into the horizons of the heart, into the depths of love &#8211; God\u2019s for us that never fails us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So we pray, let us be imitators of the saints who have gone before us.
