Out of Darkness<\/h3>\n\n\n

into Brilliant Light, God Calls <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

and Sends Us …<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Genesis 6:8<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

But Noah found favour in the sight of the Lord<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1 Peter 2:9<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God\u2019s own people, in order that you may proclaim the mighty acts of him who called you out of darkness into his marvellous light.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Words of Grace for Today –<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

God chooses us, favours us,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

and oh, we could celebrate ourselves into oblivion with such great pride!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But<\/p>\n\n\n\n

God does not choose and favour us that we may be made important in our own eyes or in the eyes of the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

God chooses us, favours us, and then sends us out to proclaim with our deeds God\u2019s mighty acts of saving us miserable sinners caught in the deep darknesses of our own making.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Light, by God\u2019s grace alone, we see<\/p>\n\n\n\n

God\u2019s Wonders<\/p>\n\n\n\n

so clearly contrasted to our own miserable attempts to make things right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The greatest wonder is that God chooses to save us from the darkness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Remember.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Re- member.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
