Words of Grace for Today –<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n…<\/p>\n\n\n\n
God judges everything, everyone, every issue in all the universe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We, of course, make our own judgments, against each other, against ourselves, against nature itself as we extract, exploit, and lay waste God\u2019s wonders in us and in all creation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
God\u2019s judgments are long since disclosed,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
as best we were able and willing to be disclosed to<\/p>\n\n\n\n
through the generations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
…<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And then Jesus came, the clearest revelation of God\u2019s will for us and all creation, turning our disclosing and discussing and diverting and distracting from<\/p>\n\n\n\n
God\u2019s will already revealed to us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Until now we have no excuse,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
except all the same old excuses,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
for not knowing God\u2019s will for us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
God\u2019s will simply put: to love God with all our heart, mind, and strength (and soul),<\/p>\n\n\n\n
and to love one another and all creation<\/p>\n\n\n\n
as God\u2019s gifts to us<\/p>\n\n\n\n
to share<\/p>\n\n\n\n
especially with the poor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Always the poor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For God turns everything upsidedown on us<\/p>\n\n\n\n
making everything rightsideup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The persecuted are blessed and given the Kingdom of Heaven.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
