Smoke Obscures Everything Good,<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

From Here<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

to The Furthest Shore<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Psalm 112:5<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is well with those who deal generously and lend, who conduct their affairs with justice.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1 Timothy 6:18-19<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

They are to do good, to be rich in good works, generous, and ready to share, thus storing up for themselves the treasure of a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of the life that really is life.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Words of Grace for Today –<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I woke to smoke that took my breath away, so thick and acrid did it dig into my soul.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I sought desperately for that breath that would take that smoke away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And I could not find it<\/p>\n\n\n\n

for hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So it is when others deal injustice to us,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

filling courts and communities with lies about us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Injustice is like smoke that takes our breath and life away, grinding us to desperately seek that truth that will take away the injustice and bring us freedom to live<\/p>\n\n\n\n

and breathe<\/p>\n\n\n\n

and work<\/p>\n\n\n\n

and be at peace<\/p>\n\n\n\n

with life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So destructive is injustice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So destructive are the lies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So good are the truths that support good deeds, giving life<\/p>\n\n\n\n

that is really life<\/p>\n\n\n\n
