We Cannot Ever Make Our<\/strong><\/u> Way to God?!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jeremiah 50:5<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

They shall ask the way to Zion, with faces turned toward it, and they shall come and join themselves to the Lord by an everlasting covenant that will never be forgotten.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

2 Peter 1:3-7<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

His divine power has given us everything needed for life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. 4Thus he has given us, through these things, his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may escape from the corruption that is in the world because of lust, and may become participants of the divine nature.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For this very reason, you must make every effort to support your faith with goodness, and goodness with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with endurance, and endurance with godliness, and godliness with mutual affection, and mutual affection with love.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Words of Grace for Today –<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Oh, Peter, well 1 Peter, which was a disciple of Peter, maybe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Like so many since it is set out that God has given us every knowledge and ability to save ourselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, as they preach again and again: GET TO IT. SAVE YOURSELVES.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yes<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Big BUT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But we cannot and do not save ourselves, and thinking that we do or can is the Devil\u2019s great deceit, catching us away from God\u2019s saving Grace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By God\u2019s Grace alone are we saved, or we are lost, lost, lost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thank God, Jesus paid the price so that our sins are not the record set before God, rather Jesus\u2019 record is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What a record to have.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And THAT saves us, and makes us \u2018participants of the divine nature\u2019!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now it\u2019s up to us to realize the abilities that gift gives us to help others!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So we do what we can and pray for what we cannot, and hope without reason or cause.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Like here<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yesterday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The noisy campers have been arriving for days & loud late nights for the long weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I prayed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This Morning!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

….<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wonderful morning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Christmas<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Answered!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

God’s noise abatement system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And the snow keeps falling, and falling, and falling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sound proofing, free and effective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
