Grace for the Humble<\/h3>\n\n\n

One can only be humble looking at God\u2019s work.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Job 9:4<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

God is wise in heart, and mighty in strength; who has resisted him, and succeeded?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1 Peter 5:5b<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

All of you must clothe yourselves with humility in your dealings with one another, for
\u201cGod opposes the proud,
but gives grace to the humble.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Words of Grace for Today –<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Being humble is to allow<\/p>\n\n\n\n

that the other person might know a little about what they are doing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That is hard to grant to some<\/p>\n\n\n\n

who act like idiots<\/p>\n\n\n\n

more often than not.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But true idiots<\/p>\n\n\n\n

cannot benefit<\/p>\n\n\n\n

from honest reactions to their idiocies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Those who benefit are the ones who respond with grace to idiots,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

for to condemn others, putting aside all grace and humility<\/p>\n\n\n\n

only corrodes the heart and spirit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since Jesus commanded us to love one another,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

to resist such wisdom is not going to help much good come one\u2019s way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But the honest truth is treating real fools and idiots with Grace is always a challenge!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
