As Sentinels<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Against All That Would Do Us Harm,<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

God Stands<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Day and Night<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

By Us!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zechariah 9:8<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then I will encamp at my house as a guard, so that no one shall march to and fro; no oppressor shall again overrun them, for now I have seen with my own eyes.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Romans 8:31-32<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

What then are we to say about these things? If God is for us, who is against us? He who did not withhold his own Son, but gave him up for all of us, will he not with him also give us everything else?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Words of Grace For Today<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Looking back at the year bygones and all<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I wonder<\/p>\n\n\n\n

what will become of<\/p>\n\n\n\n

today?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

all daze?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

looking at the weather<\/p>\n\n\n\n

or not to travel on gravel<\/p>\n\n\n\n

to the bench the Judge wants order<\/p>\n\n\n\n

is not something possible in this world<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ways I’ve decided are not to be trusted<\/p>\n\n\n\n

thoughts one cannot know so much<\/p>\n\n\n\n

is out of my hands<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Oi vey! my hands are sore<\/p>\n\n\n\n

no more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So we look to a new year, just like the last,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Knowing that God not only walks with us,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

but is encamped with us, protected as a guard the doorways,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

to the camp and our lives,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

so that those set on destroying us<\/p>\n\n\n\n

devil and all<\/p>\n\n\n\n

will not prevail<\/p>\n\n\n\n

not even in the new year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will continue to enjoy God\u2019s blessings beyond imagination,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

given to us, not earned, signs of God\u2019s grace for others to see that God is gracious to all people,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

blessing that cannot be bought with money or time:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

love, hope, peace, joy, faith, fullness of life, and purpose.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
