The cup of blessing that we bless, is it not a sharing in the blood of Christ? The bread that we break, is it not a sharing in the body of Christ?

Just a small part of a normal meal, at least in Jesus’ day,
but now it is no ordinary meal,
but a daily meal
of Jesus body
and blood
given for
us
so that we might
live free, and love, and
hope for a world where all know
and trust the grace and mercy of God
for them and all the other 8 billion people on earth
and all those who have gone before and will come after us.

but it will become clear,
soon and very soon.
