By Grace Alone

Truth has not swum out of the picture for us all.
Second Chronicles 30:18-19
For a multitude of the people, many of them from Ephraim, Manasseh, Issachar, and Zebulun, had not cleansed themselves, yet they ate the passover otherwise than as prescribed. But Hezekiah prayed for them, saying, “The good Lord pardon all who set their hearts to seek God, the Lord the God of their ancestors, even though not in accordance with the sanctuary’s rules of cleanness.”
.
Luke 15:20
Jesus told this in the parable: Having claimed and wasted his inheritance, starving came to his senses and decided to return to his father to work as a servant…. So the son set off and went to his father. But while he was still far off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion; he ran and put his arms around him and kissed him.
…
Words of Grace for Today –
…
Pardoning.
Welcoming with a kiss.
Forgiving.
All this is
God’s way of being God, steadfast in love and mercy.
…
God creates us,
forgives us,
and
sets things right between us and God.
…
this is Grace.
While the world hears powerful people lying each day,
while social media helps to create pockets of falsehood biases,
while no one can any longer be absolutely sure of what is true,
while in this chaos we need to know like never before what is true,
God offers
as God has always promised,
Grace.
And by this guide we can know truth again.
…
We pray, God send us Grace this day, again.
